melisande-open-back-knit-beach-cover-up
Melisande | Open Back Knit Beach Cover Up

The Melisande is an open knit beach cover up cut as a short mini dress. It has a simple crew neck at the front, long sleeves that flare wide at the wrist, and an open cut out across the back. The small, even openwork pattern gives it a crochet look, and the close fit through the body keeps the shape neat over a swimsuit. It is light enough to roll up and tuck into a beach bag without taking up much room.

The knit is 100% polyester with medium stretch, so it slips on easily and moves with you. It is semi-sheer by design, letting a swimsuit show through softly, which makes it a cover up rather than a dress to wear on its own. The flared sleeves catch the breeze, and the open back keeps it light on warm days by the water. The openwork lets air move through, so it never feels heavy when the sun is high.

Wear it over a bikini or a one piece from the beach to lunch, with flat sandals and a straw bag. Care is simple: hand wash cold and line dry in the shade, away from direct sun. It is the piece you pack for every holiday and pull on the moment you step off the sand. In black, it looks sleek over any swimsuit colour you choose to pair it with.

Fabric: 100% polyester open knit

Neckline: crew neck

Sleeves: long, flared at the wrist

Back: open cut out

Length: mini

Stretch: medium

Opacity: semi-sheer, designed to wear over swimwear

Care: hand wash cold, line dry in the shade, do not bleach, iron or dry clean
