The Cecily is a zip up teddy coat with a soft, curly plush pile. It has the comfort of a fleece and the length of a coat, so it keeps you warm from the neck to below the hip. It is the coat for cold mornings, walks and weekends, the one you reach for when you want to feel wrapped up without wearing anything heavy.
A stand collar zips up to keep the wind off your neck, and two side pockets sit where your hands fall. The fabric is a polyester and elastane plush with a little give, so it moves easily through the shoulders and arms. The fit is relaxed and straight, with room for a knit or a hoodie underneath, and the sleeves are long enough to keep your wrists covered. In black, navy or khaki, it looks neat and works with almost anything else you own.
It falls to the upper thigh, covering your back and hips, and works with leggings, joggers and jeans. Care is simple: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or line dry if you prefer, with a low iron if needed. Shake the pile out gently once dry.
